Victoria Slonosky

Project lead. Visiting Scholar to the Department of Geography. Research interests include Canadian climate history, climate changes, meteorological observations, climatic phenomena, and compared meteorology.


Renee Sieber

McGill University Associate Professor in the Department of Geography and School of Environment. Research interests include e-commerce/e-gov for community economic development, public participation in Geographic Information Systems (PPGIS), rewiring GIS for social change, tools for urban and sustainable development, and virtual activism.


Frederic Fabry

McGill University Associate Professor in the School of Environment and Department of Atmospheric and Oceanic Sciences. Research interests include improving the remote sensing of atmospheric properties, data assimilation at the convective-scale, and nowcasting of precipitation and severe weather.


Gordon Burr

McGill University Associate Member in the School of Information Studies. Former McGill University Archives Senior Archivist. Research interests include the history of the archival profession.


Eun Park

McGill University Associate Professor in the School of Information Studies. Research interests include digital archives, digital preservation, metadata, authenticity and authentication, electronic records management and social aspects of information technology.


Yves Lapointe

Director and University Archivist at McGill University Archives.


Drew Bush

Postdoctoral researcher in McGill University's Department of Geography and School of Environment. His research examines how applications of inquiry, service and citizen science based learning can improve public science, technology, engineering and math (STEM) understanding. The aim is to improve opportunities for rural and under served populations and solve intractable environmental problems.


Robert Smith

Software Architect and Lead Developer of the DRAW website. Graduated from McGill University with a BA in Anthropology and Geography in 2015. Founder of Better Together, an organization that aims to connect activists, non-profits, and indigenous movements and encourages working together to achieve progressive social and environmental objectives.


Rachel Black

Project Manager. Graduated from McGill University's Information Studies program with a focus in Archives in 2018 and a BA from University of Guelph in History and Anthropology in 2014. Interests include community outreach, web design, crowdsourcing initiatives, information literacy and personal archives.


Yumeng Zhang

Secondary Developer of the DRAW website. MSc student in the McGill University’s Department of Geography. Research interests include the application of citizen science and machine learning in rescuing historical datasets.


Brittany Nolan

Research Assistant. McGill University Graduate Student in the School of Information Studies with a focus in archives. Graduated from York University with a BA in History in 2016 and from McMaster University with a MA in History in 2017. Interests include community archives, outreach and museum studies.


Jazmine Aldrich

Research Assistant. Student in the McGill University Master of Information Studies program. Graduated from Bishop’s University with a BA in History and Global Studies in 2019. Interests include using archives to their full potential through visibility and outreach.

Archivist and Records Manager. Graduated from McGill University's Information Studies program with a focus in Archives in 2018 and a BA from Concordia University in English Literature, Professional Writing and Canadian Irish Studies. Interests include collections based archiving, arrangement and description of non-textual archival holdings and audio-visual archival materials.


Sara Allen

Collaboration Tool Specialist at Ubisoft Montreal. Graduated from McGill University's Information program in 2018 and a BA from McGill University in Humanities and East Asian Studies.


Christopher Blouin

Librarian for the New Frontiers School Board. McGill Graduate student in the School of Information Studies with a joint focus in librarianship and archives. Graduated with a BA in history from Concordia University in 2013 and a B.Ed. from McGill University in 2016. Interests include information literacy, school libraries, collection development, digital curation, metadata schemas, and environmentally sustainable digital preservation.
